Our 24-hour blood pressure monitor records your blood pressure over a full day and night while you go about your normal routine.
It is used to:
- Diagnose high blood pressure (hypertension)
- Check for “white coat” hypertension
- Assess how well medication is working

- Wear loose sleeves so the cuff can be fitted comfortably.
- The monitor sits on a belt around your waist, so please wear your own belt if possible.
During the Appointment
During the Appointment
We’ll place the cuff on your non-dominant arm and ensure the device is recording correctly.
It will take readings every 30 minutes during the day and every 60 minutes overnight (10pm–8am).
While Wearing the Monitor

- When the cuff inflates, stay still with your arm relaxed and straight (when safe).
- If a reading fails, the device automatically retries after 5 minutes.
- Continue your normal daily routine, including exercise if advised by your doctor.
- You cannot shower or bathe as the device must stay dry.

If the cuff over-inflates or becomes too uncomfortable, press and hold the OK button to stop the program.
Returning the Monitor & Results
Returning the Monitor & Results
Return to the pharmacy at the same time the following day.
We’ll remove the device and provide a full printed report for your GP if needed.
